GMA Medical & Dental Supplies is a company that provides medical supplies. The business imports its products from international manufacturers to sell in the local market
Founded in December 2020, the business’ initial focus has been on supplies for dental services which include products such as dental bibs, sterilization pouches, masks, gloves, composites etc. GMA is hoping to gradually expand its product range to include more dental operational products as well as supplies used by other medical fields.
GMA saw a business opportunity after realizing the extensive price variation for medical supplies between the manufacturer’s price and the price charged by the industry giants in the South African market. This preliminary assessment shed light on a potential opportunity to purchase the supplies directly from international manufacturers and sell them locally to private dental practices. The business has since imported some of these products, following the assessment of the products’ conformity to industry standards.
We recently partnered up with i-dental and we are a distributor for their products. They are a dental material manufacturer based in Lithuania Europe.
